Advocacy
Empowering PAs in the Liberty-Sandhills Region

Our Mission
The Liberty-Sandhills Association of Physician Assistants (LSAPA) Advocacy Committee is dedicated to advancing the PA profession in the Moore, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Sampson, and Lee counties. Our primary mission is to empower PAs with the tools, representation, and support needed to improve healthcare delivery across North Carolina.
What We Do
Representation: LSAPA Advocacy provides delegates to the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) House of Delegates, ensuring our region's voice is heard at the national level.
Local Engagement: We collaborate with regional stakeholders, healthcare providers, and policymakers to advocate for legislation and regulations that enhance PA practice.
Education and Awareness: Through community outreach and professional development, we educate the public and legislators about the vital role of PAs in modern healthcare.
Our Goals
Build strong relationships with legislators and healthcare organizations.
Empower PAs to advocate for their profession through resources, mentorship, and training.
Address barriers to practice and improve healthcare access in our region.
