Mission

The association was formed by like-minded Physician Assistants operating on Fort Liberty seeking to collaborate with peers on a local level, L-SAPA operates on four fundamental pillars.

  1. Advocacy - Support the larger Physician Assistant community with advocacy at the local, state, and congressional level.

  2. Education - Develop, sponsor, and integrate continuing medical or medically related education programs to further hone both leadership and intellectual attributes of the PA.

  3. Information Continuity - Establish a collaborative network of shared ideas, resources, and evidence-based practices across the PA community to better render world-class quality healthcare to the public.

  4. Volunteer - Enhance community outreach and relationships between healthcare professionals and the general public through acts of healthcare and non-healthcare related volunteer missions.
